Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the 112 emergency call service by the Communication and Informatics Office of Grobogan Regency. Using a qualitative approach with interview and observation methods, this study collected data from service users and operational officers. The results of the study indicate that public awareness of this service has increased from 60% to 80% in the past year, although it still needs to be improved further. Technical constraints, such as network disruptions and limited facilities, are the main challenges in optimizing the service. In addition, coordination between agencies plays an important role in responding quickly and appropriately to emergency situations. This study recommends increasing socialization to the community, improving telecommunications infrastructure, and increasing the number of operators to handle the high volume of calls. By overcoming these constraints, the 112 emergency call service is expected to function more optimally and provide maximum benefits to the people of Grobogan Regency. Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas implementasi layanan panggilan darurat 112 oleh Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Grobogan. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara dan observasi, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari pengguna layanan dan petugas operasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat terhadap layanan ini mengalami peningkatan dari 60% menjadi 80% dalam satu tahun terakhir, meskipun masih perlu ditingkatkan lebih lanjut. Kendala teknis, seperti gangguan jaringan dan keterbatasan fasilitas, menjadi tantangan utama dalam optimalisasi layanan. Selain itu, koordinasi antar instansi berperan penting dalam memastikan respons yang cepat dan tepat terhadap situasi darurat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat, perbaikan infrastruktur telekomunikasi, serta penambahan jumlah operator guna menangani tingginya volume panggilan. Dengan mengatasi kendala tersebut, layanan panggilan darurat 112 diharapkan dapat berfungsi lebih optimal dan memberikan manfaat maksimal bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Grobogan.
