Abstract
Abstrack The study analyzes the impact of the implementation of humanistic Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) on employee job satisfaction at Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi, with emotional wage as a mediating variable. The research is based on the importance of human resources in achieving organizational goals and the negative impact of low job satisfaction on employee performance. The application of humanistic OHS, which focuses on employees mental and physical well-being, is expected to create a safe and comfortable work environment, thereby enhancing job satisfaction. The research method employed is a survey and distribution of questionnaires, with quantitative data analysis of outer and inner models involving 70 respondents from Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi. The results indicate that the implementation of humanistic OHS has a positive effect on employee job satisfaction. The Value Added Factor (VAF) obtained is 40%, indicating a partial mediation by emotional wage in the relationship between the implementation of humanistic OHS and job satisfaction. This study is expected to contribute to developing OHS policies and human resource management in educational institutions, as well as increase attention to employee welfare to achieve better productivity. Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan K3 humanis terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi, dengan emotional wage sebagai variabel mediasi. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya sumber daya manusia dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi dan dampak negatif dari rendahnya kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penerapan K3 humanis yang berfokus pada kesejahteraan mental dan fisik pegawai diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan nyaman, sehingga meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dan penyebaran kuesioner dengan analisis data kuantitatif outer dan inner model melibatkan pegawai Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi sebagai responden sebanyak 70 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan K3 humanis berpengaruh positif berdampak positif pada kepuasan kerja pegawai. Nilai VAF yang diperoleh sebesar 40% menunjukkan adanya mediasi parsial oleh emotional wage dalam hubungan antara penerapan K3 humanis dan kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kebijakan K3 dan manajemen sumber daya manusia di institusi pendidikan, serta meningkatkan perhatian terhadap kesejahteraan pegawai untuk mencapai produktivitas yang lebih baik. |
