Abstract
The era of globalization has made competition in the business world increasingly fierce, PT Home Center Indonesia (PT HCI) determines a strategy to be able to compete. However, the strategy that has been set creates internal conflict in the work environment. The existence of internal conflicts led to allegations of decreased performance achievement. This study aims to analyze the effect of adversity quotient and emotional quotient on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. The object of this research is the employees of PT Home Center Indonesia, Kudus Branch. This research is quantitative and the number of samples is 55 respondents. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique. Analysis and calculations using SmartPLS 4 software. The results of this study are adversity quotient, emotional quotient and work motivation partially have a positive effect on employee performance. In the indirect effect, the adversity quotient has a positive effect on employee performance through work motivation. And indirectly emotional quotient also has a positive effect on employee performance through work motivation.

Additional Information: | Era globalisasi membentuk persaingan dunia bisnis semakin ketat, PT Home Center Indonesia (PT HCI) menentukan strategi agar mampu bersaing. Namun, strategi yang telah ditetapkan menimbulkan konflik internal di lingkungan kerja. Adanya konflik internal menyebabkan dugaan penurunan pencapaian kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat analisis pengaruh adversity quotient dan emotional quotient terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Home Center Indonesia Cabang Kudus. Penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dan jumlah sample sebanyak 55 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh. Analisis dan perhitungan menggunakan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adversity quotient, emotional quotient dan motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pada pengaruh tidak langsung, adversity quotient berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja. Dan secara tidak langsung emotional quotient juga berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja. |
