Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of servant leadership on instructional innovation and teacher professional development, with creativity as mediating variable. The focus of this research is non-formal early childhood education (PAUD) teachers in Kalinyamatan District, Jepara Regency. This study employs quantitative method with a casuality approach. Data were collected via questionnaires from 130 respondents selected using a simple random sampling technique from a total population of 192 educators, with the sample size determined using the slovin formula. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) through SmartPLS 4.1 software. The results of the study show that: (1) Servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on instructionalinnovation; (2) Servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher professional development; (3) Servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher creativity; (4) Creativity has a positive and significant effect on instructional innovation and professional development; (5) Creativity is proven to act as a partial mediator in the relationship between servant leadership and both instructional innovation and teacher professional development. This indicates that servant leadership can stimulate teachers’ creative initiatives, leading to enhanced innovation and professionalism. | Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan melayani (servant leadership) terhadap inovasi pengajaran dan pengembangan professional guru, dengan kreativitas sebagai variabel mediasi. Focus penelitian ini adalah guru PAUD Non-Formal di Kecamatan Kalinyamatan, Kabupaten Jepara, mengingat peran krusial mereka dalam membentuk fondasi karakter anak usia dini di jalur Pendidikan non-formal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kausalitas. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dari 130 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dari total populasi 192 pendidik, dengan penarikan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus slovin. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Squares (PLS) melalui perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan melayani berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap inovasi pengjaran; (2) Kepemimpinan melayani berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan professional guru: (3) Kepemimpinan melayani berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kreativitas guru; (4) Kreativitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap inovasi pengajaran dan pengembangan professional; (5) Kreativitas terbukti berperan sebagai mediator parsial dalam hubungan antara kepemimpinan melayani terhadap inovasi pengajaran maupun pengembangan professional guru. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan yang melayani dapat menstimulasi inisiatif kreatif guru yang berujung pada peningkatan inovasi dan profesionalisme.
