Abstract
Unemployment is a critical issue in Central Java, particularly in Tegal Regency, where the Open Unemployment Rate reached 7.53% in 2024, ranking third highest in the province. Vocational High School (SMK) graduates dominate the job-seeking population, indicating a mismatch between vocational education outcomes and labor market demands. This study examines the influence of Digital Competencies, Entrepreneurial Alertness, Family Support, and Self-Efficacy on Entrepreneurial Intention among vocational students in Slawi District, with Self-Efficacy as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach and PLS-SEM analysis, data were collected from vocational students in Slawi. The results reveal that Entrepreneurial Alertness (p=0.0287), Family Support (p=0.0486), and Self-Efficacy (p=0.00002) significantly affect Entrepreneurial Intention, while Digital Competencies show no direct effect (p=0.7389) but exert an indirect influence through Self-Efficacy (p=0.0165, VAF=79%). Self-Efficacy mediates the relationships between Digital Competencies, Entrepreneurial Alertness, and Family Support with Entrepreneurial Intention, with varying degrees of partial mediation. These findings highlight that fostering Entrepreneurial Intention requires enhancing digital skills, opportunity recognition abilities, Family Support, and self-confidence. Practical implications include developing vocational curricula that integrate digital training and entrepreneurship programs to reduce unemployment and stimulate economic growth in Tegal Regency. | Additional Information: | Pengangguran merupakan isu krusial di Jawa Tengah, khususnya di Kabupaten Tegal, dengan Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka mencapai 7,53% pada tahun 2024, menjadikannya tertinggi ketiga di provinsi ini. Lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) mendominasi jumlah pencari kerja, mengindikasikan adanya kesenjangan antara hasil pendidikan vokasi dan kebutuhan pasar kerja. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh Digital Competencies, Entrepreneurial Alertness, Family Support, dan Self Efficacy terhadap Entrepreneurial Intention pada siswa SMK di Kecamatan Slawi, dengan Self Efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis PLS-SEM, data dikumpulkan dari siswa SMK di Slawi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Entrepreneurial Alertness (p=0,0287), Family Support (p=0,0486), dan Self Efficacy (p=0,00002) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Entrepreneurial Intention, sementara Digital Competencies tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung (p=0,7389) namun berpengaruh secara tidak langsung melalui Self Efficacy (p=0,0165, VAF=79%). Self Efficacy memediasi hubungan antara Digital Competencies, Entrepreneurial Alertness, dan Family Support dengan Entrepreneurial Intention, dengan tingkat mediasi parsial yang bervariasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan niat berwirausaha memerlukan peningkatan keterampilan digital, kemampuan mengenali peluang, dukungan keluarga, dan kepercayaan diri. Implikasi praktis mencakup penyusunan kurikulum vokasi yang mengintegrasikan pelatihan digital dan program kewirausahaan untuk mengurangi pengangguran dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Tegal.
