Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of career advancement and social connectedness on employee performance through the moderating role of job satisfaction among employees of the Medical Equipment Calibration Laboratory at PT. Aldana Teknik Indonesia. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach and a verificative research method. The population in this study consisted of 39 employees of the Medical Equipment Calibration Laboratory at PT. Aldana Teknik Indonesia. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, with respondents obtained through a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. Data were processed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS version 4 software. The results of the study indicate that career advancement has a positive effect on employee performance, social connectedness has a positive effect on employee performance, and job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction is able to moderate and strengthen the influence of career advancement on employee performance, as well as moderate and strengthen the influence of social connectedness on employee performance

Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan Laboratorium Kalibrasi Alat Kesehatan PT. Aldana Teknik Indonesia sebanyak 39 karyawan. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh. Adapun cara mendapatkan responden penelitian menggunakan instrumen kuesioner google form. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode metode Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan software SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa career advancement berpengaruh positif terhadap employee performance, social connectedness berpengaruh positif terhadap employee performance, job satisfaction berpengaruh positif terhadap employee performance, job satisfaction mampu memoderasi dengan memperkuat pengaruh career advancement terhadap employee performance, serta job satisfaction mampu memoderasi dengan memperkuat pengaruh social connectedness terhadap employee performance.
