Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job crafting on job performance with work engagement and job satisfaction as mediating variables (a case study at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kudus Raya Office). The research applies a descriptive quantitative approach along with a verification method, with a population consisting of 50 employees of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kudus Raya Office. Therefore, the sampling technique used is a saturated sample. The respondents were obtained through a Google Form questionnaire instrument. Data processing was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS version 4 software. The results show that job crafting directly influences work engagement, job satisfaction, and job performance. Furthermore, work engagement and job satisfaction directly affect job performance. Work engagement and job satisfaction also serve as mediators in the relationship between job crafting and job performance. It is recommended that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan implement strategies that encourage employees to be more flexible and proactive in their daily work. Support from management, such as flexibility in work methods, opportunities for self-development, and empowerment in decision-making, will create a conducive environment for job crafting

Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif serta metode verifikatif dengan populasi karyawan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kantor Kudus Raya sebanyak 50 responden. oleh karena itu, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Adapun cara mendapatkan responden penelitian menggunakan instrumen kuesioner google form. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode metode Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan software SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job crafting secara langsung memengaruhi work engagement, job satisfaction dan job performance. Kemudian, work engagement dan job satisfaction secara langsung memengaruhi job performance. Adapun work engagement dan job satisfaction mampu berperan sebagai mediasi job crafting terhadap job performance. Disarankan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan menerapkan strategi yang mendorong karyawan untuk lebih leluasa berinisiatif dalam pekerjaan sehari-hari. Dukungan dari manajemen, baik berupa fleksibilitas dalam metode kerja, kesempatan pengembangan diri, maupun pemberdayaan dalam pengambilan keputusan, akan menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi job crafting.
