Abstract

This research is motivated by intense competition between motorbike brands which leads employees to improve performance at PT. Harpindo Jaya Semarang. Achieving the Company's goals can be realized through increasing employee knowledge, abilities and attitudes. Job Training and Work Discipline are one of the factors that can influence employee performance. Based on this, the aim of this research is to determine the effect of job training and work discipline on the performance of PT Harpindo Jaya employees. This research uses a quantitative method, where variables are measured using a Likert scale. The data collection technique was through distributing questionnaires using distribution, with 98 employee respondents. In this research, several analytical methods were used, including the Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, and Model Feasibility Test. Analysis was carried out using the IBM SPSS application. The research results show that job training has no significant effect and work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh persaingan ketat antar brand sepada motor yang menuntunt karyawan untuk meningkatkan kinerja di PT. Harpindo Jaya Semarang. Untuk mencapai tujuan Perusahaan tersebut dapat diwujudkan melalui peningkatan pengetahuan, kemampuan dan sikap oleh karyawan. Pelatihan Kerja dan Disiplin Kerja menjadi salah satu factor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pelatihan kerjadan Disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Harpindo Jaya. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dimana variable diukur menggunakan skala likert. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan sebaran, dengan responden karyawan yang berjumlah 98 orang. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan beberapa metode analisis diantaranya adalah, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda, dan Uji Kelayakan Model. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pelatihan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan dan Disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
