Abstract
ABSTRACT High levels of employee turnover are still a serious challenge for many organizations because they can have a negative impact on productivity and costs. This research aims to analyze the influence of work engagement on turnover intention with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research method uses a quantitative approach with saturated sampling techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 124 contract nurses at RSUD dr. Adhiyatma, mph and hypothesis testing using Structure Equation Modeling and SmartPLS software. The research results show that work engagement has a significant positive influence on intention to change jobs. Job satisfaction is proven to partially mediate the relationship between work engagement and intention to change jobs. Employees who have high work engagement tend to have a higher intention to leave the organization even though they feel satisfied. Practical implications for organizations in providing strategies on aspects of employee work engagement and job satisfaction as an effort to reduce turnover. Further research is recommended to consider contextual factors and serve as further references.
