Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of affective commitment in mediating the effect of information technology and professional competence on human resources performance. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population of this study is all employees of PT. Adjitama Persada, amounting to 101 employees. The sampling method uses the census method. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. Data analysis method used is path analysis using SPSS. Hypothesis testing results indicate that information technology has a positive and significant effect on affective commitment. Professional competence has a positive and significant effect on affective commitment. Affective commitment has a positive and significant effect on human resources performance. Information technology has a positive and significant effect on human resources performance. The results of the analysis of mediation variables using the Sobel test found that affective commitment was able to mediate the influence of information technology on human resources performance. Affective commitment is able to mediate the effect of professional competence on human resources performance.
