Abstract
Profit is an important indicator for companies and users of financial information. Profit can produce performance in a company over a certain period of time, profit is also a measure of the achievement of management ability when managing company resources. If the reported profit is not the same as the actual information about operations, this can lead to report users. This research aims to analyze the influence of profitability, profit growth, leverage and liquidity on earnings quality with company size as a moderating variable. The population of this research is property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020-2022 period. Using a purposive sampling technique, this research collected 76 data for further analysis. The analytical tools used include descriptive, normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, coefficient of determination R2, and T test. The results of the study show that profitability, profit growth, leverage has a positive effect on earnings quality Meanwhile, liquidity has a negative effect on earnings quality and profitability and profit growth cannot be moderated by company size in influencing earnings quality, while company size can moderate the influence of leverage and liquidity on earnings quality.
