Abstract

The CSR or Corporate Social Responsibility is a popular term for the citizens around the corporate installation. CSR is a form of charity program from the corporate industry for the citizens. The cause is the establishment of the industry installation is prejudiced that it can give significant effect for the citizens.The purpose of this research is to understand the implementation Bank Jateng’sCSR in education, the benefit and the impact that arise in its implementation. Dataof the research were analyzed qualitatively, which is secondary of theory,definition, and substance from iterature and regulation, and primary of interview,observation, and field study, in which they were analyzed with the relevant code,theory, and expert's opinion, thus, it could be concluded upon the application ofcorporate social esponsibility related to the solving of education problems. Technique validity of the data was done by using rianggulation. Based on theanalysis, it is concluded that in applying social responsibility in education,applying Bank Jateng through improved educational infrastructure, the program"Bedah Sekolah" on SDN Bangetayu Wetan 2 Genuk Semarang and procurementunit "Motor Pintar" along with the accessories.Although implementation of CSRsystem in Bank Jateng still bottom-up, but the resulting give positive impactalready covers the expected goals, especially in improving the quality ofeducation through infrastructure. Meanwhile, during the implementation, both theBank Jateng and the recipient does not have obstacles.
