Abstract

This research examine the impact of internal good corporate governance mechanism that represented by managerial ownership, institutional ownership, commissioner’s size, independent commissioner’s size, board of director’s size, and audit committee size on company’s value which epresented by Price Book Value (PBV). Price Book Value is a ratio used to measure the value assigned to the management of financial markets and the organization.The population of this research is all public bank companies which were listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange in year of 2007-2011. 9 companies complied the characteristics became sample of this research so that there were 45 observation and there were 3 outlier bservations included that changed total of observation into 42. Purposive sampling method was used to determine research sample. By using SPSS 17 this research used linier regression method. Analisys using data that has been passed previously tested using a test such as the classical assumption ofnormality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, and autocorrelation test then tested using linier regression method. The analysis showed that the board of director’s size and audit committee size significantly influence on PBV. While, the managerial ownership, Institutional ownership, commissioner’s size and independent commissioner’s size is not significantly influence on PBV. Model Fit test of 34.9%.
