Abstract

This study is performed to examine the effect of Return On Invstment rd Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) in manfacture companies that is listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange over period 2007-2010. The population of this research is all of company that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2007-20010. Sampling technique used here is purposive sampling on criterion (1) the company that used research object is manufacture company, and (2) the company that share their dividend period 2007-2010. The data is obtained based on Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD 2007- 2011) publication. The method to collecting data used here is pooling data. It is gained data amount of 104 data research from 53 manufacture companies those are listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used here is multiple regression with the least square difference and hypothesis test using t-statistic to examine partial regression coefficient and F-statistic to examine the mean of mutual effect with level significance 5% (0.05). This research result that return on investment (ROI) gives significantly effect on dividend payout ratio (DPR) that pointed by the significancy value is 0.021 or less than 0.05 . It also funds that free cash flow not gives significantly effect on dividend payout ratio (DPR) that pinted by significancy value is 0.394 or more than 0.05.
