Abstract

Base Lending Rate is one of indicator of the condition of economic. Base Lending Rate can give positive or negative impact on economic. The Purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of the Cost Of Fund (COF), Promotion Cost, Employee Cost and Spread to Base Lending Rate. The population are commercial banks that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2006-2010. The number of sample that examines after passed the purposive sampling phase is 17 banks. Analyze technique to use in this research are Simple Linier Regression which was preceded by Classic Assumption . In addition, the hypothesis test used was the t-test statistic and test F statistic. The result of this research shows that Cost Of Fund and Spread has positive and significant influence to Base Lending Rate significantly on 0,000. Promotion Cost and Employee Cost has not significant influence to Base Lending Rate, significantly on 0,576 and 0,079. These four variables has significant influence on Base Lending Rate simultaneously. Determination coefficient (adjusted R square) was about 0,977 or 97,7 percent. This case showed that 97,7 percent Base Lending Rate was influenced by both Cost Of Fund, Promotion Cost, Employee Cost and Spread.Whereas the remainder about 2,3 percent influenced by other factors out of research model.
