Abstract

The purpose of this research is to give empirical evidence on factors that influence capital structure. Samples used in this research are manufacture company sectors automotive and allied products listed in Indonesian stock exchange from 2007 until 2010. By using multiple linier regression, the result of this research shows that asset structure has negative and significant influence on capital structure, profitability has negative and significant influence on capital structure, and size of firm has positive and significant influence on capital structure. Meanwhile, the other variables (sales growth and liquidity) have no significant influence on capital structure.
