Abstract

The objective of this research is to test how much each of these factors, both internal and external influences o the volume of financing Islamic banks in Indonesia during 2006-2010. The study included 11 Islamic Banks that have been registered in the Bank of Indonesia and has published a quarterly financial statements during the observation period thus obtained 95 samples of the research. The analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression. Variables which are tested are Third Party Funds, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return On Assets (ROA), Non Performing Financing (NPF), and inflation as an internal factors to volume of financing as an external factor. The result of the research shows that the five variables used; Third Party Funds, CAR, ROA, NPF, and inflation together with are able to influence volume of financing. The five variables mentioned can explain dependent variable is 32,9% and the remain is 67,1% can be explained by another variables which are not included in this model. Although the five independent variables together is able to influence volume of financing, but the result of the t statistics shows that only Third Party Funds and ROA variables which is significant in influencing volume of financing.
