Abstract
Bank as a business entity is required to operate in such a way thatensured its survival. Financial ratios proved to play an important rolein predicting whether a sound business continuity and unhealthy. The purpose of this Research is to examine influence of Adequency Capital Ratio (CAR), Fixed Assets to Equity (ATTM), Allowance for Earning Assets to Assets (PPAPAP), Non Perfoming Loan (NPL), Return on Asstes (ROA), Net Interst Margin (NIM), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), and the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) to the prediction of bank bankruptcy. Samples used in this study is a national private banks registered in the Directory of Bank Indonesia in 2006-2009 period. To determine the sample used purposive sampling method to generate 63 sample bank. Data analysis tools used in this study is logistic regression. These results prove that the ratio of ROA and NIM significantly negative effect ono rediction of bank bankruptcy, while the CAR, ATTM, PPAPAP, NPL, BOPO, and LDR no significant effect on prediction of bank bankruptcy.
