Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of austerity budgets on emotional exhaustion through role conflict as a mediating variable. This study uses a population of manufacturing companies in Banyumas Regency through purposive sampling. The company data obtained were 63 medium and large scale manufacturing companies in Banyumas Regency. Company data processing using the Smart PLS analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that budgetary tightness has a positive and significant effect on emotional exhaustion, budgetary tightness has a positive and significant effect on role conflict and role conflict has a positive effect on emotional exhaustion. Meanwhile, the effect of role conflict cannot mediate the relationship between budgetary tightening and emotional exhaustion. Keywords : budget tightness, emotional exhaustion, role conflict.

Additional Information:	Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetatan anggaran terhadap kelelahan emosional melalui konflik peran sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi dari perusahaan manufaktur di Kabupaten Banyumas melalui purposive sampling. Data perusahaan yang diperoleh sebanyak 63 perusahaan manufaktur skala sedang dan besar di Kabupaten Banyumas. Pengolahan data perusahaan menggunakan alat analisis Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetatan anggaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kelelahan emosional, pengetatan anggaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap konflik peran serta konflik peran berpengaruh positif terhadap kelelahan emosional. Sementara itu, pengaruh konflik peran tidak dapat memediasi hubungan antara pengetatan anggaran terhadap kelelahan emosional.
