Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare whether there is a difference or not in the financial performance of Conventional Banks and Islamic Banks. The population of this study is the financial statements of Bank Jateng Conventional and Bank Jateng Syariah in quarters in the period 2015 – 2022. The sampling technique uses the Purposive Sampling technique with Financial Reports which include overall financial ratio information according to the variable studied, namely Return on Assets (ROA) ), Return on Equity (ROE), Operational Revenue Operational Agency (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR). The analysis technique used is the comparative analysis of the Mann-Whitney test. The results in this study, namely based on the ratios that become proxies (ROA, ROE, BOPO, LDR/FDR), there are significant differences in all proxies except ROA.

Additional Information:	Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan apakah ada perbedaan atau tidak dalam kinerja keuangan dari Bank Konvensional dan Bank Syariah. Populasi penelitian ini yakni laporan keuangan pada Bank Jateng Konvensional dan Bank Jateng Syariah dalam triwulan pada kurun waktu 2015 – 2022. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan Laporan Keuangan yang mencangkup informasi rasio keuangan secara keseluruhan sesuai variabel yang diteliti yakni Return on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Badan Operasional Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) serta Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis komparatif mann-whitney test. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yakni berdasarkan rasio yang menjadi proksi (ROA, ROE, BOPO, LDR/FDR), terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada semua proksi kecuali ROA.
