Abstract
The increasing turnover intention among Generation Z employees has become a challenge for companies in Pati Regency. This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance, salary satisfaction, and workload on turnover intention among Generation Z employees. This research employed a quantitative approach using a purposive sampling technique with 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that work-life balance and salary satisfaction have no significant effect on turnover intention, whereas workload has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, the three variables influence turnover intention, although the model’s explanatory power remains limited. These findings highlight that high job demands and workload pressure are the primary factors driving Generation Z employees to leave their jobs. This study provides practical implications for companies to manage workload proportionally and create supportive working conditions to improve the retention of young workers.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work life balance, kepuasan gaji, dan beban kerja terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan Generasi Z. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling dan melibatkan 100 responden. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work life balance dan kepuasan gaji tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention, sedangkan beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Secara simultan ketiga variabel berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention meskipun kontribusi model relatif terbatas. Temuan ini menekankan bahwa tingginya tekanan dan tuntutan pekerjaan menjadi faktor utama yang mendorong karyawan Generasi Z untuk berpindah pekerjaan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi perusahaan agar mengelola beban kerja secara proporsional serta memperhatikan kondisi kerja yang mendukung retensi tenaga kerja muda. |
