Abstract
Abstract The emergence of digital transformation has created new patterns in how and where government public service employees perform their work, but if not managed properly, it will actually lead to burnout. This study attempts to explain how burnout moderates the influence of perceptions of information technology and work-family balance on job satisfaction, in the context of digital transformation of public services. The novelty of this study lies in the context of studying the relationship between information technology demands and resources on job burnout, work-family balance, and job satisfaction in the regional public service sector in Indonesia. The research method approach used is descriptive quantitative and verification research methods. The population in this study were 70 Family planing program manager in Tegal Regency. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, namely the entire population was used as the research sample. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using SmartPLS software version 4. The results of the analysis show that job satisfaction family planing program manager is mainly determined by Work-Family Balance (WFB) which has a positive and strong effect, while perceptions of IT have a positive but relatively weak effect on job satisfaction. Burnout does not moderate the relationship between IT perceptions and job satisfaction, but plays a significant role as a negative moderator in the WFB–job satisfaction relationship so that at high levels of burnout, the benefits of WFB on job satisfaction are reduced. | Additional Information: | Abstrak Munculnya transformasi digital telah membentuk pola baru bagaimana dan di mana pegawai pelayanan publik pemerintahan melakukan pekerjaan mereka, namun hal tersebut apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik justru akan menimbulkan burnout. Penelitian ini berupaya menjelaskan bagaimana burnout memoderasi pengaruh persepsi terhadap teknologi informasi dan keseimbangan kerja–keluarga terhadap kepuasan kerja, dalam konteks transformasi digital pelayanan publik. Novelty penelitian ini terletak dalam konteks kajian hubungan antara tuntutan dan sumber daya teknologi informasi terhadap burnout kerja, keseimbangan kerja-keluarga, dan kepuasan kerja pada sektor pelayanan publik daerah di Indonesia.Pendekatan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan metode penelitian verifikatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengelola program KB di Kabupaten Tegal sebanyak 70 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini total samplling yaitu seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan software SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja Pengelol program KB terutama ditentukan oleh Work-Family Balance (WFB) yang berpengaruh positif dan kuat, sementara persepsi terhadap TI berpengaruh positif namun relatif lemah terhadap kepuasan kerja. Burnout tidak memoderasi hubungan antara persepsi TI dan kepuasan kerja, tetapi berperan signifikan sebagai moderator negatif pada hubungan WFB–kepuasan kerja sehingga pada tingkat burnout yang tinggi, manfaat WFB terhadap kepuasan kerja berkurang Kata kunci: Burnout, persepsi terhadap IT, Work Family Balance, Kepuasan Kerja |
