Abstract
This research is motivated by the importance of the role of human resources in improving organizational performance. Factors such as work family conflict, compensation, and work motivation are believed to have an influence on employee performance. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of work family conflict, compensation, and work motivation on employee performance. The type of sampling method used in this study is a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique. The number of samples obtained using the Lemeshow formula was 100 female employee respondents in Semarang City. Data processing in this study used SPSS 25 with a multiple linear regression analysis model. The results of the study stated that (1) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) compensation does not have a significant effect on employee performance, (3) Work family conflict does not have a significant effect on employee performance. This study suggests that future researchers consider other variables outside those studied, such as leadership, work environment or work stress which are likely to have a broader influence on employee performance. | Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peran sumber daya manusia dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Faktor-faktor seperti konflik peran ganda, kompensasi, dan motivasi kerja diyakini memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui pengaruh konflik peran ganda, kompensasi, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis metode untuk pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel didapati menggunakan rumus Lemeshow sebanyak 100 responden karyawan wanita di Kota Semarang. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS 25 dengan model analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa (1) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) Kompensasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (3) Konflik peran ganda tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menyarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk mempertimbangkan variabel lain di luar yang diteliti, seperti kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja atau stres kerja yang kemungkinan besar dapat memberikan pengaruh lebih luas terhadap kinerja karyawan. |
