Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of soft skills, hard skills, and work motivation on the work readiness of Generation Z students at BPD University entering the workforce. The background of the study is based on the high unemployment rate of Generation Z students in their final semester of college. The research method used a quantitative approach with an associative approach. The sample consisted of 70 final-semester students taking thesis courses and having completed KKP (internship) programs, selected using an accidental sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that soft skills, hard skills, and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on student work readiness. These findings indicate that improving technical competency, non-technical skills, and strong motivation are crucial in preparing students for the competitive workforce.
