Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on organizational performance with the mediating role of employee motivation and loyalty in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owned by Indigenous Papuans in Mimika Regency. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 111 respondents. The analysis technique employed is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the relationships between variables. The results show that CSR has a positive impact on organizational performance, both directly and through the mediation of employee motivation and loyalty. Internal CSR programs focusing on employee welfare were found to enhance motivation and loyalty, which ultimately led to improved organizational performance. This research contributes to the theoretical literature on CSR and organizational performance and provides practical insights for MSME owners and managers in designing effective CSR programs to enhance company performance.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) terhadap kinerja organisasi dengan peran mediasi dari motivasi dan loyalitas karyawan pada UMKM milik Orang Asli Papua di Kabupaten Mimika. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 111 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan Partial Least Squares (PLS) untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CSR memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja organisasi, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi motivasi dan loyalitas karyawan. Program CSR internal yang berfokus pada kesejahteraan karyawan terbukti meningkatkan motivasi dan loyalitas, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja organisasi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis pada literatur CSR dan kinerja organisasi, serta memberikan wawasan praktis bagi pemilik dan manajer UMKM dalam merancang program CSR yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan
