Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership and emotional intelligence on employee performance through job satisfaction at the Kendal Regency Satpolkar office. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling technique used was a saturated sampling technique where the entire population was sampled so that the sample in this study was 139 Kendal Regency Satpolkar employees. The data analysis technique used was Partial Least Square (SmartPls) with data analysis, namely descriptive statistical analysis, measurement model test (outer model) and structural model test (inner model). The results of the study showed that transformational leadership and emotional intelligence have a positive effect on job satisfaction. In addition, transformational leadership has a negative effect on employee performance. However, emotional intelligence and job satisfaction have a positive effect on employee performance. In addition, transformational leadership and emotional intelligence have a positive effect on employee performance through job satisfaction at the Satpol Kar Office, Kendal Regency.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 139 Pegawai Satpolkar Kabupaten Kendal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan Partial Least Square (SmartPls) dengan analisis data yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif, uji measurement model (outer model) dan uji structural model (inner model). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan tranformasional dan emotional intelligence berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selain itu kepemimpinan tranformasional berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Namun emotional intelligence dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu kepemimpinan tranformasional dan emotional intelligence berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja pada Kantor Satpol Kar Kabupaten Kendal. |
