Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of workplace spirituality and love of money on public service motivation, with the role of employee well-being as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to employees of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Surakarta Branch. The population in this study were all employees of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Surakarta Branch as many as 53, with a sampling technique using a saturated sample of 53. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique to test the relationship between the research variables. The results of the study workplace spirituality have a direct and significant effect on public service motivation, while love of money has no effect on public service motivation. Workplace spirituality and love of money have a significant positive effect on employee well-being. Employee well-being has a significant positive effect on public service motivation. Other findings show that employee well-being mediates the partial complementary effect of workplace spirituality on public service motivation. Employee well-being also mediates love of money on public service motivation with full mediation. The practical implication is that public service organizations need to improve workplace spirituality and employee well-being to encourage higher public service motivation.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh workplace spirituality dan love of money terhadap motivasi layanan publik, dengan peran employee well-being sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada pegawai BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Surakarta. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Surakarta sebanyak 53, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh sejumlah 53. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS- SEM) untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel-variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian workplace spirituality berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap motivasi layanan publik, sedangkan love of money tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi layanan publik. Workplace spirituality dan love of money berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap employee well-being. Employee well-being berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap motivasi layanan publik. Temuan lainnya menunjukkan bahwa employee well-being memediasi partial complementary pengaruh workplace spirituality terhadap motivasi layanan publik. Employee well-being juga memediasi love of money terhadap motivasi pelayanan publik dengan full mediasi. Implikasi praktis organisasi pelayanan publik perlu meningkatkan workplace spirituality dan kesejahteraan pegawai untuk mendorong motivasi layanan publik yang lebih tinggi. |
