Abstract

The study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership on job satisfaction with employee engagement as a mediating variable. Data collection technique by distributing questionnaires to KPK employees, the sample size determined was 100 respondents. Analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) and smartPLS analysis tools. The results of research on transformational leadership have no significant effect on job satisfaction, transformational leadership have a significant positive effect on employee engagement, employee involvement have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, employee engagement plays a mediating role in the influence of transformational leadership on job satisfaction.

Additional Information: Penelitian bertujuan menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan employee engagement sebagai variabel pemediasi. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pegawai KPK, besar sampel ditentukan berjumlah 100 responden. Analisis menggunakan partial least square (PLS) dan alat analisis smartPLS. Hasil penelitian kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap employee engagement, employee engagement berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, employee engagement berperan memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kepuasan kerja.
