Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership and work motivation on employee performance through organizational citizenship behaviour as a mediating variabel for Aston Inn Pandanaran Hotel employees. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents and processed using the SmartPLS application. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method and this type of research is quantitative. The results showed that leadership had a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behaviour, work motivation didn’t have a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behaviour. Leadership, work motivation and organizational citizenship behaviour have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, organizational citizenship behaviour mediates the effect of leadership on employee performance and organizational citizenship behaviour can’t mediate the effect of work motivation on employee performance.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui organizational citizenship behaviour sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan Hotel Aston Inn Pandanaran. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner terhadap 50 responden dan diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour, motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour. Kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja dan organizational citizenship behaviour berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sementara itu, organizational citizenship behaviour memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan organizational citizenship behaviour tidak dapat memediasi pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.
