Abstract

The impact technological growth of computer toward accountant professions has been experienced of computer toward data and information process of accounting and auditing practices. The influence of this technological growth of computer can be a positive or negative. Its positive influence as making an accountants duty esier, as negative influence as arising a new problem regarding the move complicated bussines environment that should be faced by accountant profession, thus improvement of accountant competency is needed. This article discusses how the recent accountant competency notes attentively technological growth of computer in their work domain, how auditing techniques needed in audit based on computer.
