Abstract

Cyberloafing behavior among civil servants has become an important issue along with the increasing reliance on the internet in carrying out work tasks. High job demands as well as potential Job Stress and Job Boredom are assumed to encourage employees to engage in non-work-related online activities during working hours. This study examines the effect of Job Stress and Job Boredom on Cyberloafing with Self-Control as a moderating variable. The study employed a the total sampling technique (saturated sampling) with a total sample of 74 civil servants working at the Regional Research and Innovation Agency (BRIDA) of Central Java Province, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that Job Stress has a positive effect on Cyberloafing, while Job Boredom has no significant effect. Furthermore, Self-Control does not moderate the relationship between Job Stress and Cyberloafing, nor between Job Boredom and Cyberloafing. Additional Information:	Perilaku Cyberloafing pada Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) menjadi isu penting seiring meningkatnya ketergantungan pada internet dalam pelaksanaan tugas kerja. Tingginya tuntutan kerja serta potensi stres dan kejenuhan kerja diduga mendorong ASN melakukan aktivitas daring yang tidak berkaitan dengan pekerjaan selama jam kerja. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh Job Stress dan Job Boredom terhadap Cyberloafing dengan Self-Control sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian menggunakan teknik total sampling technique (sampling jenuh) dengan jumlah sampel 74 ASN di Badan Riset dan Inovasi Daerah (BRIDA) Provinsi Jawa Tengah, serta dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda dan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Job Stress berpengaruh positif terhadap Cyberloafing, sedangkan Job Boredom tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Selain itu, Self-Control tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh Job Stress maupun Job Boredom terhadap Cyberloafing.
