Abstract

Abstract Companies are required to retain young employees with high career mobility, including Generation Z, which is starting to dominate the workforce. This challenge is particularly relevant in Purbalingga Regency, which faces a relatively high employee turnover rate influenced by various internal and external factors. This study examines the effect of burnout, compensation, and employer branding on turnover intention among Generation Z employees in Purbalingga Regency. The research sample consisted of 106 respondents selected using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques, with data analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that burnout has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, while compensation and employer branding have a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. These findings emphasize that preventing burnout, improving both financial and non-financial compensation, and strengthening the company’s image as an attractive workplace are important strategies to reduce turnover intention among Generation Z employees. Additional Information: Abstrak Perusahaan dituntut mampu mempertahankan tenaga kerja muda yang memiliki mobilitas karier tinggi, termasuk generasi Z yang mulai mendominasi dunia kerja. Tantangan ini semakin relevan di Kabupaten Purbalingga, yang menghadapi tingkat turnover karyawan cukup tinggi dan dipengaruhi berbagai faktor internal maupun eksternal. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh burnout, kompensasi, dan employer branding terhadap turnover intention karyawan generasi Z di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 106 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling, dengan analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa burnout berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap turnover intention, sedangkan kompensasi dan employer branding berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa upaya pencegahan burnout, peningkatan kompensasi baik finansial maupun non-finansial, serta penguatan citra perusahaan sebagai tempat kerja yang menarik menjadi strategi penting untuk menekan turnover intention pada karyawan generasi Z.
