Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of internal communication strategies and feedback-seeking behavior on teacher performance mediated by teacher creativity (Case Study of Junior High School Teachers in Semarang City). The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach and a verificative research method. The population in this study consists of 3,757 Junior High School (SMP) teachers in Semarang City, with a sample of 100 respondents determined using Slovin’s formula. Based on the calculation, the required sample size is 100 respondents. The respondents were obtained using a Google Form questionnaire as the research instrument. Data processing was carried out using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with SmartPLS version 4 software. The results show that strategic internal communication and feedback-seeking behavior have a positive impact on teacher performance and teacher creativity. Furthermore, teacher creativity has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance. Teacher creativity is also able to mediate the influence of strategic internal communication and feedback-seeking behavior on teacher performance. It is recommended that school management recognize that clear, open, and well-directed communication is not merely a tool for delivering information but also a key factor in creating an environment that supports innovation among teachers. Schools must ensure the existence of a two-way communication mechanism that allows teachers to express ideas, exchange thoughts with colleagues, and receive constructive feedback
