Abstract
Changing work dynamics and rising individual expectations for quality of life are driving job hopping intentions, particularly among younger generations. Around 83% of generation z workers intend to change jobs within the next 12 months. The high level of job hopping intention indicates that the problem of job hopping intention in employees still occurs and has not been fully resolved. This study aims to analyze the effect of salary, work-life balance, career development, and psychological capital on job hopping intention. A quantitative approach was used in this study involving 97 respondents from generation Z in Wonogiri Regency who were selected through purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires, and analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS software version 31. The results showed that the variables of salary, work life balance, career development, psychological capital on job hopping intention had a negative and significant effect on job hopping intention. This finding indicates that both internal and external factors play an important role in shaping an individual's tendency to change jobs.
