Abstract
Personal financial management is an essential skill for students to support financial independence. This study examines the influence of financial knowledge and self-control on students’ personal financial management in Surakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach with 100 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both financial knowledge and self-control have a positive and significant effect on personal financial management. These findings suggest that students’ financial management can be optimized when supported by strong financial knowledge and self-control.
