Abstract
Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment, encompassing both physical and non-physical aspects, and the compensation system on employee performance at Hotel GranDhika Pemuda Semarang. The primary issue this research focuses on is the lack of attention to physical work environment, non-physical work environment, and compensation system. The research methodology employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was collected through questionnaires, observation, and unstructured interviews. The population for this study consisted of all 55 employees of Hotel GranDhika Pemuda Semarang. The sampling technique used was a census, where the entire population was included as the sample. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis show that the physical work environment does not have a effect on employee performance (Sig. 0.382 > 0.05). However, the non-physical work environment has a positive on employee performance (Sig. 0.002 < 0.05). Similarly, the compensation system also has a positive on employee performance (Sig. 0.009 < 0.05). Simultaneously, these three variables (physical work environment, non-physical work environment, and compensation) have a effect on employee performance, contributing 19.2%, while the remaining 80.8% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. | Additional Information: | Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, yang mencakup aspek fisik dan non-fisik, serta sistem kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di Hotel GranDhika Pemuda Semarang. Masalah utama yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini adalah kurangnya perhatian terhadap lingkungan kerja fisik, lingkungan kerja non fisik, dan sistem kompensasi. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh 55 karyawan Hotel GranDhika Pemuda Semarang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sensus, di mana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja fisik tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan (Sig. 0,382 > 0,05). Namun, lingkungan kerja non-fisik berpengaruh positif dan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Sig. 0,002 < 0,05). Demikian pula, sistem kompensasi juga berpengaruh positif dan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Sig. 0,009 < 0,05). Secara simultan, ketiga variabel tersebut (lingkungan kerja fisik, non-fisik, dan kompensasi) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan kontribusi sebesar 19,2%, sedangkan 80,8% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar model penelitian.
