Abstract

In recent years, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Semarang Majapahit Branch has not been able to achieve the established KPI targets. From 2021 to 2023, there has been a consecutive decline in job performance. This indicates the urgency of studying job performance at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Semarang Majapahit Branch. This research aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and leader emotional intelligence on job performance mediated by trust in supervisor at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Semarang Majapahit Branch. The study adopts a descriptive quantitative approach along with a verificative method. The population in this research consists of 44 permanent employees at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Semarang Majapahit Branch. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, with data collected through a Google Form questionnaire. Data processing was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS software. The analysis results show that transformational leadership and leader emotional intelligence are able to improve trust in supervisor and job performance. Furthermore, trust in supervisor serves as a mediating variable in the influence of transformational leadership and leader emotional intelligence on job performance.

Additional Information: Pada beberapa Tahun terakhir, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan cabang Semarang Majapahit belum mampu mencapai target KPI yang ditetapkan. Adapun pada Tahun 2021 hingga Tahun 2023 terjadi penurunan job performance secara berturut-turut. Hal ini menggambarkan urgensi terhadap kajian job performance dari BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Semarang Majapahit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh transformational leadership dan leader emotional intelligence terhadap job performance dimediasi trust-in supervisor pada BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Semarang Majapahit. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif serta metode verifikatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan definitif BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kantor Cabang Semarang Majapahit sebanyak 44 karyawan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner google form. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode metode Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa transformational leadership dan leader emotional intelligence mampu meningkatkan trust in supervisor dan job performance. Kemudian, trust in supervisor mampu berperan sebagai mediasi pengaruh transformational leadership dan leader emotional intelligence terhadap job performance.
