Abstract
Abstract The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of profitability, company size, liquidity, leverage, operating cash flow, earnings growth, sales growth, and tangible assets on financial distress. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study is consumer cyclical sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021-2024, totaling 165 companies. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling method. The sample consists of 41 consumer cyclical sector companies listed on the IDX from 2021-2024, with a total of 164 data points. The analytical tool used in this research employs SPSS version 30. The research results indicate that profitability has a significant negative impact on financial distress, company size has a significant positive impact on financial distress, liquidity has a significant positive impact on financial distress, leverage has a significant positive impact on financial distress, operating cash flow has a significant positive impact on financial distress, earnings growth has an insignificant positive impact on financial distress, sales growth has an insignificant positive impact on financial distress, tangible assets have a significant positive impact on financial distress. | Additional Information: | Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, likuiditas, leverage, arus kas operasi, pertumbuhan laba, pertumbuhan penjualan, aset berwujud terhadap kesulitan keuangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan consumer cyclicals yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2021-2024 yang berjumlah 165 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling method. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 41 perusahaan consumer cyclicals yang terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2021-2024 dengan jumlah 164 data. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meenggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 30. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kesulitan keuangan, ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesulitan keuangan, likuiditas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesulitan keuangan, leverage berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesulitan keuangan, arus kas operasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesulitan keuangan, pertumbuhan laba berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap kesulitan keuangan, pertumbuhan penjualan berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap kesulitan keuangan, aset berwujud berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesulitan keuangan. |
