Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the impact of optimizing human resource management practices on improving employee performance at Bank SMBC Indonesia within the context of a High-Performance Work System. The population in this study includes all employees of Bank SMBC Indonesia working across various divisions and job levels at the head office. The sample for this study was selected using a purposive sampling technique, where employees chosen were those who had worked at Bank SMBC Indonesia for at least one year and had an understanding of the HR management practices implemented in the company. The targeted sample size is 50 respondents. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS version 3 software. Based on the findings and discussion, it is concluded that the High-Performance Work System has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Bank SMC Indonesia. Furthermore, it was found that the management trainee program and changes in leadership style can moderate (strengthen) the influence of HPWS on employee performance. Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meganalisis pengaruh optimalisasi praktik pengelolaan sumber daya manusia terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan pada Bank SMBC Indonesia dalam Konteks Sistem Kerja Berkinerja Tinggi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi seluruh karyawan Bank SMBC Indonesia yang bekerja di berbagai divisi dan level jabatan di kantor pusat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, di mana karyawan yang dipilih adalah mereka yang telah bekerja di Bank SMBC Indonesia selama minimal satu tahun dan memiliki pemahaman tentang praktik pengelolaan SDM yang diterapkan di perusahaan. Jumlah sampel yang ditargetkan adalah 50 responden. Adapun cara mendapatkan responden penelitian menggunakan instrumen kuesioner google form. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan software SmartPLS versi 3. Dari hasil temuan penelitian dan pembahasan maka disimpulkan bahwa high-performance work system berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Bank SMC Indonesia. Kemudian, diketahui bahwa manajemen trainee dan perubahan pola kepemimpinan mampu memoderasi (memperkuat) pengaruh HPWS terhadap kinerja karyawan
