Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure, company size, and good corporate governance on profitability in food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The type of data in this study is quantitative using secondary data. The population in this study consisted of 21 food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2021-2023. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so that a total of 63 were obtained. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using the Statistic Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 16 software. Based on the results of the study, it shows that institutional ownership has a positive effect on profitability. While capital structure, company size, audit committee funds do not affect profitability.

Additional Information:	Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan, dan good corporate governance terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan manufaktur subsektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 21 perusahaan manufaktur makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2021-2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 63. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak Statistic Program for Social Science (SPSS) versi 16. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan, dana komite audit tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas.
