Abstract
Teacher performance has an important role in improving the quality of early childhood education which can be influenced by several factors. This research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to kindergarten teachers in Genuk District, Semarang City. The sampling technique used saturated samples with a total population of 98 teachers as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data processing is done using IBM SPSS Statistic version 26. The results showed that motivation and competence had a positive influence on performance, and the work environment and leadership showed no effect on performance. This research can provide implications for related parties such as school principals and the Education Office to be able to appreciate and pay attention to kindergarten teachers as well as possible.

Additional Information: | Kinerja guru memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini yang dapat dipengaruhi beberapa faktor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner pada guru TK di Kecamatan Genuk Kota Semarang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan menggunakan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah populasi dapat dijadikan sampel sebanyak 98 guru sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistic versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan kompentensi memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja, serta lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan menunjukkan hasil tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan implikasi bagi pihak – pihak terkait seperti kepala sekolah dan Dinas Pendidikan untuk dapat mengapresiasi dan memperhatikan lagi guru Taman Kanak – kanak sebaik mungkin. |
