Abstract
Social media usage is on the rise, especially among Gen Z. Based on the data, it is stated that the majority of social media users with 47.9% are in the productive or working age group in 2020. The use of social media certainly has a positive and negative impact on performance. So this study aims to determine the effect of social media on the performance of Gen Z employees. A total of 100 people were taken as samples using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique in this study used application SPSS. The results showed that the effect of social media on the performance of Gen Z employees was accepted. So that social media can have a positive impact on employee performance in generation Z.

| Additional Information: | Penggunaan media sosial sedang meningkat, terutama di kalangan Gen Z. Berdasarkan data disebutkan bahwa mayoritas pengguna media sosial dengan angka 47,9% berada pada kelompok usia produktif atau bekerja pada tahun 2020. Penggunaan media sosial tentunya memberikan dampak positif dan negatif terhadap kinerja. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media sosial terhadap kinerja karyawan Gen Z. Sebanyak 100 orang diambil sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh media sosial terhadap kinerja karyawan Gen Z diterima. Sehingga media sosial dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap kinerja karyawan pada generasi Z. |
