Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Sharia Conformity and Islamic Corporate Governance on sharia banking financial health. Sharia Conformity is measured by Islamic investment ratios, sharia income ratios and profit sharing financing ratios. Islamic Corporate Governance is measured by the variable proportion of independent commissioners and the proportion of sharia supervisory boards. Financial health of Islamic banking is measured by the CAMEL method. The research sample was obtained using purposive sampling to obtain 64 Islamic banking data for the period 2010-2017. The research sample was selected based on the number of banking annual financial reports and GCG reports on each banking website. The results of this study indicate that the components of sharia investment and profit sharing financing significantly influence the financial health of sharia banks, while sharia income does not significantly influence financial health. Proportion of Independent Commissioners Has no significant effect on the financial health of banks, the proportion of sharia supervisory boards has a significant effect on the financial health of banks.
