Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the moderating influence of financial risk on the influence of role overload and work environment on burnout among MSMEs in Semarang City. The object of this research was carried out on MSME actors in Semarang City in 2024. The population in this research included MSME actors in Semarang City in 2024, totaling 29,868 MSME actors. The sampling technique used in this research was proportionate stratified random sampling so that the number of research samples was 100 samples which were then analyzed using Smart PLS 3.29. The results of this research show that Role Overload has a significant positive effect on burnout, the work environment has a significant positive effect on burnout, financial risk does not moderate the effect of role overload on burnout, and financial risk is able to moderate the effect of the work environment on burnout.
