Abstract

One of the four pillars of Indonesia's 2045 vision in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is sustainable economic development, which steps to provide facilities for investment strategic sector and improve the ease of license systems and services. Stable, inclusive and sustainable national economy can be achieved with full support from the financial systems that prevent the practice of funding or investment in business activities by using resources excessively; increase social inequality, and cause environmental damage. Good corporate governance and financial risk disclosure are implemented as transparency of present company risks to maintain its business continuity in the future. This study analyze the effect of corporate governance proxies by proportion of the independent commissioners, expertise of audit committee, ownership concentration, auditor's reputation, and the existence of risk management committee. The sampling technique use purposive sampling methods to classify the financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in three years (2016-2018). The multiple linear regression uses to analyze the data and the results indicate that proportion of the independent commissioners, auditor’s reputation, and the existence of risk management committee effect on financial risk disclosure. Meanwhile, expertise of audit committee and ownership concentration do not effect on financial risk disclosure.
