Abstract
The activity of collecting and distributing funds from and to the society in the form of loan aiming to improve its prosperity is a bank’s function as a financial intermediary. The banking loan is a finance alternative capital for society in conducting the economic activities and investment. This research was conducted because the distribution of the banking loan has not been maximally given by the banking or undisbursed loan. The purpose of the research is to know the effect of the third party fund (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Non Performing Loan (NPL) towards the distribution of the banking loan. There were 104 samples used in this research. Those were taken from 26 commercial banks listed on BEI in 2008-2011, using polling data technique. The data analysis techniques used in this research weredescriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test hypotheses, and feasibility test.From the result, it can be concluded that the third party fund (DPK) gives positive significant effect towards the distribution of the banking loan, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), gives negative significant effect and Non- Performing Loan (NPL)gives negative significant effect towards the distribution of the banking loan.
