Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of financial performance as financial ratio with proxy Current Ratio (CR), Return On Investment (ROI), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) to stock return of food and beverages company that listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange in period of 2007-2010. Population of this research is food and beverages company at Indonesia Stock Exchange the publishing annual report period 007-2010 and never issued a Dividen yield. The number of population for this research is 19 company and the number of sample that examined after passed the purposive sampling phase is 7 company. Data analysis technique uses statistic descriptive analysis, classic assumption test multicolinierity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test and normality test), multiple regression analysis and hypothesis. The result of this study show that: Current Ratio positively affects the stock return but not significant with level significance is of 0,188; Return On Investment positively affects the stock return but not significant with level significance is of 0,699; Debt to Equity Ratio affects the stock return but not significant with level significance is of 0,103 and Total Asset Turnover affects the stock return but not significant with level significance is of 0,319.
