Abstract
Assessment of financial performance not only in terms of finance alone, but also views of corporate social erformance. Companies that implement social responsibility will indirectly acquire high trust and have a positive image in the eyes of stakeholders than companies that do not apply sosia responsibility. This study aims to determine empirically the influence of corporate social responsibility towards the company's financial performance in the proxy via the return on equity and return on investment, the study sample of 107 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Year 2009-2010. Technique analysis data used is descriptive analysis, the classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, goodness of fit and hypothesis testing. From the research, it can be concluded that corporate social responsibility significantly influence a company's financial performance. This can be seen from the adjusted R2 value of 40.40% for return on equity and 11.20% for return on investment. So statistically it can be concluded that corporate so
