Abstract

Price Book Value (PBV) is a ratio used to measure the value assigned to the management of financial markets and the organization as the company continues to grow. The higher the ratio of PBV means that the company has created value for shareholders. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of financial management functions of the company. The population in this study are all publicly traded banking companies in Indonesia which are listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2007-2010. Sampling technique using a purposive sampling method. The method of analysis was used multiple linearregression analysis using the SPSS data that has been passed previously tested using a test such as the classical assumption of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The analysis showed that the Asset Market to Book Ratio (MBAR) significantly affect the PBV of 0.021, while the Debt Equity Ratio (DER) did not significantly affect the PBV of 0.283, and Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) did not significantly affect the PBV of 0.222. Model Fit test of 10.5%.
