Abstract
This research was conducted to examine the effect of the variable Return On Assets, Operating Cash Flow, and Economic Value Added to stock returns. This study aims to determine the measures which have a positive impact on stock returns. The sample in this study is a company in the category of manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2006 - 2010 selected by purposive sampling method and obtained the sample of 55 companies from 180 companies. Analysis technique used is multiple regression and ypothesis testing using the t-statistic for testing the effect of partial and f-statistics to test the effect together with the significance level of 5%. It also tested the classical assumptions that included tests of normality, ulticollinearity test, test of autocorrelation and heteroscedasticity test. Based on the results of the t-test showed that the level of significance of the variable Return on Assets, Operating Cash Flow, Economic Value Added in succession - also is 0%, 89.1%, 33.6%, which means that only the variable return on assets that have a positive influence on stock returns because the level significance of less than 5%. While based on proven test-f together variable Return on Assets, Operating Cash Flow, Economic Value Added positive influence on stock returns at significance level of less than 5% is 0%. Predictive ability of these three variables on stock returns of 16.7%.
